minimálnemzdy.sk gives an overview of current minimum wages in every European Union country. It is built mainly for road hauliers who need to know quickly what drivers must be paid in the countries they drive through. Besides the map and the country comparison, the site offers calculators and a summary of the rules on posting of drivers.

Where the data comes from

All figures come from Eurostat's official minimum wage table (earn_mw_cur). We check for updates every week; Eurostat usually publishes new figures twice a year, as of 1 January and 1 July. Amounts are monthly gross wages, shown in euros, in purchasing power standards (PPS) and in the national currency.

The figures are for information only and are not legal or payroll advice.

Who runs the site

The site is run by BRAINER, a company that grew out of international transport and has more than 20 years of experience in transport and administration. BRAINER takes paperwork off the hands of companies across the EU, such as VAT refunds, posting of drivers and low emission zone stickers.
